Dating someone in the raf
With regards to living in quarters together when not married the answer I'm afraid is no, people do find ways around this when there is a child however but tbh it's best to be upfront and honest. With regards to what camp life is like it varies from camp to camp but I think a lot of it is what you make of it too.I am terrified, either way we will probably end up living on base, if we can't live together because we aren't married then we would get married.I have read so many different things online about what it's like for a wife living on camp and mostly it's bad things, I really don't want to offend anyone, but I have read things that say you have to act a certain way to fit in, that new wives are never welcome, and so much more.
My concerns are that we do not live any where near any raf bases, and if we sold the house and brought one closer to where ever he was to be based then what's to say he wouldn't be moved within a year - 3 years and we would have to do it all again.
Like I said we aren't married but we do have a child together, is there anyway we could live together on base? Obviously I have so many questions that no one else, apart from a raf wife, could answer?
